'Color Skin' Not working

I tried to change my site colours to a different one and this affects the menu background colour as well. I do not want this.
Also, the ‘Color Skin’ on the documentation looks different than what is in the theme options

header related color configure you need to go

theme option-> header-> configure bottom area you find the color configure.
