ArrazParticipantGuys, got a question for you. Decided to start my own online store, nothing fancy, just want to sell everyday household stuff that actually moves. Looked into some dropshipping suppliers here in the US and realized I’d have to mark up their products so much just to see any real profit. Anyone know where to find suppliers with more reasonable terms?

TheumParticipantHousehold stuff is rough to sell honestly, everybody’s got the same ten products and buyers just grab whatever’s cheapest without caring who they’re buying from. You’re getting squeezed on US suppliers because their price already has a fat markup baked in before it even gets to you, so you’re stacking markup on markup and wondering why nothing’s left over.

BedrosParticipantFinding a supplier you can actually trust is mostly trial and error no matter where you look, you don’t really know what you’re dealing with until the first order shows up. A lot of sellers in this exact spot end up going straight overseas once the US margins stop making sense. Take a look at Chinese dropshipping suppliers here https://easync.io/articles/china-dropshipping/ . Breaks down how to vet a factory properly before you order, which matters since you can’t just pop over and check the place out yourself.
